Even though Google has grown to become a Goliath of the web, they still let their creative, fun spirit show in their doodles, April Fool’s jokes and Easter eggs. Today we highlight some of the more accessible Google Search Easter eggs:

Type ‘let it snow’ in the Google search page and see this:

Then after a while, as your screen gets caked in digital snow, a ‘Defrost’ button appears that allows you to clear the snow. Try that in a real blizzard!

Next is the dizzying Google Barrel Roll Easter egg. Type ‘do a barrel roll’ in the search engine to watch your page do a full 360 degree roll.

Then if you’re feeling a little askew from that barrel roll, you can type ‘askew’ or ‘tilt’ in the Google search bar and watch your search page slant to the right. Hmm, was this Easter egg developed by elephants? 😉

And finally, for old school geek fun, type in ‘ascii art’ in the search bar see the ‘Google’ logo change to ascii art.
